First of all, this is a great site and has a lot of cool info on it. When I started playing the game, I got to about mid Chap 2. I thought it was really cool, the level of interaction between the NPC's. I also began to notice Jahiera and Aerie saying some strange things to me. I actually began thinking "wait a minute, they're getting real personal here". It was then that I discovered the romance scripts on this site.
anyway, I got stuck with the Aerie romance, mostly because I'm a sucker for hard luck cases
According to the posts I have seen here, it ends when she asks you to sleep with her. If you do it she says you are moving too fast, if you don't she respects you and stays in the party. Well, that's not quite what happened with me.....When I entered the Asylum, I guess the romance dialogue was pretty close to the end, I think the last thing she said in Brynnlaw was wanting some advice about battle, etc. We go to the asylum and start working our way through. I get to the room where Bhodi attacks me and I turn into the Slayer. Shortly after this I decide to rest. Well of course big mistake as far as the slayer goes, but right before I turn into the slayer, Aerie says something along the lines of"you don't look so well, I'll comfort you as best I can". My response is something like "stay away, I might hurt you"(I think there are 2 responses along those lines). Anyway, I go slayer, she freaks, you know the rest. she then says something like "Please don't turn into a monster anymore".
I finish the asylum and go back to Brynnlaw(to take the boat route, it sounded cooler from the posts here). I rest at the inn and get the Slayer dream. when I wake up, Aerie talks to me, saying how she was watching me in my sleep and how peaceful I was(If she only knew
) and that she loved me, she finally found something else to live for, blah, blah, blah. Depending on you response she will want to "go somewhere else and live happily together after this is over". Or you could just tell her she's whacked out of her mind(Don't know what happens then.)She never actually asked me to sleep with her but she did say she respected me for not taking advantage of her in that "awful place" (the asylum I guess), which I found interesting. I guess if you are at a certain point in the romance when you get to the Asylum this will happen(don't ask me what that point is.)
I just thought I'd share that since most people seem to think that the romance ends either with her needing "time" or just badly. It seemed like a really cool ending to me. I'm actually glad I did it, I was thinking of going back and trying to stay with the Jahiera romance. Chicks with scimitars are cool...hehhehehe (just kidding there)
