By default I believe they should be in the C:\Program Files\BaldursGateTutu\save folder. Remember the saves are folders and should be labelled somethin like 000000001-Nico 34 or 000000022-Nico 34. You transfer the whole folder, not an individual file.

Can you load your saves into BG1 Tutu?

If you can load your saves into the game then the saves must be somwhere. Could the save folder have been made 'hidden'? Alternatively, could this be a rights issue, i.e. you can only see the folder if you are logged on as the administrator?

That's not true, I've imported from a Tutu saved game many times.

Are you using Vista?

I suggest checking the view options for the BaldursGateTutu folder, and make sure hidden files are viewable. I know how to do this for XP ... Select the BaldursGateTutu folder, select Tools on the top menu bar, then select Folder Options, then select View. The box next to 'Show hidden files and folders'' should be selected.

yes im using vista... in vista there is no "tools" :S:S so i cant do what you suggest... but it's not an issue anymore since i found out that you have to export in your "final-save" to be able to import the characterfile... So now i have done so and my BG2 is up and running!
Tanks anyways! ;)
