question about a monk mod

Post by Dradeel »

Several months ago i stumbled upon a mod for monks and i cant even remember the name. I saved the page where it was but bought a new computer and lost the link. It changed HLA's for monks so that a player could chose more quivering palms, shadow kicks adn many other monk usable HLA's. If anybody knows the location of this mod please give me a link?

I don't know this mod. Hereis a good list of custom made kits though, maybe you can find it here.

I'm pretty sure this is what you are looking for:

G3: Oversight

though i doubt that monk class needs to be made any more powerful..

I can see why people find the monk powerful or even overpowered, but I never could accept the fact (from a roleplaying perspective), that a level 40 monk can't hit kangaxxx with his fists. All that training so that I have to equip a +4 sword. And look at Balthazar. He's a monk and with mods he's quite capable to turn you to dust. The link you provided is to even the odds.

Actually a lvl 40 monk can hit Kangaxx just fine with only his bare hands/legs, for they are granted a +4 enchantment to their fist/legs at lvl 25.

I also think that monks should have had different hla's though than the fighter classes, atleast i think they should have been able to pick hla's from the thief hla table aswell(of course not traps), to make them less similar to fighters.

You're right i also think that monks' fists enchantment level is progressing slowly but you can not deny the huge list of advantages they have, a monk can literally be immune to magic. There is another mod that revises the HLA table of monks along with all other classes and official kits. You might wanna check its readme here;
