Need help with "light".

During the buried memories quest, in the dark crypt, I cannot find any light sources. Where can I find a Cat potion or a torch?

You're probably not going to find any cat potions; you're going to have to make them, which is going to require you learn the herbalism skill (under intelligence).

For torches, they're reasonably common in barrels and cabinets and so forth, so just be thorough when you're searching the outskirts.

Buy a book related to crypt creatures from the antiquarian at the inn.

I think he was talking about Cat potions still. The barghests are probably so he can gain a level and learn Herbalism.

Anyway, it's been a while, but I think Cat is one of the recipes you get in the tutorial, so you should check to see if you have it already.

Triss gives it to you after the Bed scene (aka lovemaking).

I don't know if you can get it without sleeping with her (but since I always sleep with Triss :mischief: )
