Where do you play?
There is nothing you can't do, at least if you have enough patience to keep trying.

Same here :D

I also had it happen the first time I sat on a bench. It took a minute or so until it dawned on me that I needed to use the Space bar for both sitting down and standing back up  :o

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

"Tamriel's Funniest Crystall Ball Viewings"

:p :o

Well, before I get to the horses, how about this for silly? Like being used to conversations ending automatically, then when one doesn't, you just have a staring contest with the NPC until you realise you need to click on Exit. Or the reverse, when you don't recall clicking on Exit, and you wonder why the NPC just backed away from you or walked away, when you hadn't finished, or at least thought you hadn't?

Now back to the horses! If I knew where they were, I'd show you how funny it is to be on your horse while inside a building, because you didn't know how to dismount, or couldn't. So you resign yourself to go about questing, doing everything from horseback! Sometimes Fast Travel would not seperate my PC from the horse, so they'd arrive together. Sometimes resorting to the Console command, "MoveToQuestTarget", or the one, "COC", would result in funny scenes of my PC looking like a C&W music album cover, horse and owner in a "saloon" as it were! :p
Shhh! Be very quiet! I may be sleep writing and sleep reading!
