Could someone let me know what weapons are useful for fighting ghosts besides enchanted, i'm using a silver at the moment but are any high end weapons any good ??
So far (level 16) silver seems the way to go. I think I read that they arnt sensitive to fire or ice not being of this world. If you are an Atronarch you can suck up their magic while they are blasting you. Just watch your health. One thing is to paralyze them and then get busy with a silver weapon.
They can also be hit by any enchanted weapon. As kanga pointed out, they aren't harmed by some kinds of magical damage, so for example a longsword of blizzards won't do any bonus frost damage, but it will inflict the base damage for that type of longsword.
