It's been a couple of weeks since I finished the game with a sorcerer 16, and I think I'd like to play the game again with other classes, btu this time I'd like to multi-class. I've always been partial to mages and I love the sorcerer class, but I'm interested in monk, paladin, cleric, and just plain fighter. My first question is what would make a good multi-class and (really baffling) when should I pick up new classes? I know some of that depends on which class I'm playing at the moment and which skills I acquire/wait for when I switch, but I wanted other opinions.

Also, I'm considering ordering SoU and HoU, so I wondered if you enjoyed those games as much as NWN...

Try a bard\blackguard combination, and be a character of pure evil, do evil deeds. That's a lot of fun, believe me ^^

First of all, If you buy NWN as a package ( gold or platinum ), you get a much better price.

OC and HotU are comparable in quality, SoU is a little less. The number of levels in each depends on how you play but in average, OC is about 16 levels, SoU 13 and HotU about 27. HotU gives you 15 free levels at the start of the game that's why it is much longer; there is a stretch(cult monks) in HotU where you can level up to the maximum (40) as long as you are patient. As the result, HotU is most suitable to play multiclass. The 15 free levels at the beginning of HotU also helps you to gain better understanding of your multiclass.

Last, although you can import you characters but I would advise against it since it makes the game too easy.

Thanks for your straight-forward reply. I purchased NWN alone simply because I didn't know if I'd like it or not, and I was made squeemish by all the posted information about the problems with Vista. In retrospect, I should have bought all three. But...live and learn.
