a place to keep stuff save. (spoilers)

Post by TheDude »

hi i wanted to know if u place items in a box in BG1 do they stay there or are they lost when u play Tosc?
I nearly finnished BG1 but i wanted to play trough Tosc before i go to Sarevok. but i have the inventation to his duke becomming and his diary, along with stuff i saved for the final battle, can i place them in a box somewhere and go to durlags tower and come back to find them again??

in BG2 i always used the first table in de Cooper Couronet to stash my items but i don''t know if it can be done in BG1.

Yes, you can do that in Baldur's Gate as well.
“The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially.”

Have you already installed ToSC? Really, I would imagine that you have. If that's the case, the expansion fits rather seamlessly into your preexisting game. If you haven't installed it yet, you might just gather your stuff up and place it on your characters and create a save. I think you'll be okay, regardless, but its better to be on the safe side.

i just reinstalled the game i had a save of an old game (did everything accept baldurs gate and Tosc at the time i didn't install it either) when i reinstalled it i also installed tosc after i did some quest in baldurs gate (all the thiefs quests and cleared out sorcerous sundries) because was around the exp cap.
So all the important items i wanted to keep i got after i installed Tosc.

I do have an extra save right before i went to Ulgoth's Beard so if still lost al the items i just have to kill sarevok, clear durlag's tower again and kill sarevok again with much more ease :D
