0 damage after conversations?

Post by Solusek »

Hey guys,

I just started a new run through the standard NWN 2 Campaign and noticed something strange. Every a fight starts directly after a conversation, the first couple of hits me or my party receive do 0 damage. Meaning there's actually a 0 appearing over my char's head.

What's that all about? Is it a bug? Or was it added in one of the patches for some reason? It's been a while since I last played the original campaign.

Note: I do think this only occurs directly after conversations, though I'm not 100% sure. Edit: Ok, I kept playing for a while and am now 99.9% sure that it's only right after conversations. The thing is, it takes quite some time(e.g. the casting time of 'Melf's Acid Arrow') till it "wears off", so I sometimes feel like I'm having an unjust advantage...

So long,
Sol

Its been awhile since ive played NWN2 oc ..but I don't recall ever running into what you've described really. It may've happend to me a couple times, but I never gave it too much thought.

It seems like another glitch imo. But I guess on the brightside aslong as its 0 dmg.. it doesn't look like its affecting much or's anything to really worry about :o I'd just leave it as it is.. might just be some internal error or something of the like.
