Help Wanted! Please :)

Hi!
So, I started playing IWD2 recently (great game) and I've battled my way from Targos all the way to Kuldahar. I'm in Chapter five right and I'm totally stuck because of what I believe must be a bug of some sort..
So.. I was asked by Iselore to enter the portal thingy on the big tree, and kill a bunch of Yuan-ti snake people to stop them, and also kill the crossroads guardian.
I did this, killed the snakes in the temple until it was noted in my journal that I had stopped their reinforcements, and then I went out to kill this big dragon guardian.. I managed to kill him and the earth-quake started, so I ran through the portal back top Kuldahar, where I battled an army.. Now this is where I get the problem... Iselore marks the dragons eye on my map, but then when I ask him how to get there he simply tells me that I should take that crossroads portal to the yuan-ti again... he does not tell me how to move forward.. I mean I already stopped the yuan-ti and killed the dragon and the portal is very closed. (Though Iselore believes it to be open..)

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug, that he won't tell me how to move on?
Am I forced to restart the game from the beginning (or an old save.. ofcourse) or is there some work-around?

Please help!

Just leave the town to get to the travel map screen and click at Dragon's Eye there.

Thanks for the reply, but after having some trouble finding out how and where to go I did look up a guide and a map for help and just like you said, the guide says "just leave Kuldahar" and the map points me to a little bridge thingie marked with "To Dragon's Eye".
I have of course tried that though leaving Kuldahar that way isn't open to me.
Read up some more on the guide to make sure I have done everything I'm supposed to, and I have.
Seems I won't make it further in the game... (No, I dont have a reasonable save to go back to >_<)

I'll check in here again if someone might have any ideas, please help.
