What do I have to do to beat the 5 cockatice in the cave? I have a silver sword and I rub on the magic and the stuff that puts it up 40% but I still can't kill them. Do I need an oil? If so how do I get it?
I would really appreciate some help.

Are you trying to fight all five at once? You should be able to lure a couple of them to you at a time.

Try using signs. A powered-up Aard will probably stun them even if they surround you, and you can use Igni to cause damage if you need to retreat. Ornithosaur oil will give your sword 100% damage increase if you can make it.
