Ok, so - I've gotten the Dragon Eggs from both Phare and Solaufein (might have misspelled those... but I'm stuck.
If I wander into the egg-chamber everyone aggros on me (and I do mean EVERYONE... Including Phare and the Matron Mother) and I can't du squat to move on...
Does anyone know of any good guides that go through this in detail? I've looked at a couple, but I can't seem to move on no matter what I try...
with the risk of going over something you've already tried:
you have to make sure that you ONLY kill the 2 egg guards just outside the actual egg chamber...do it with a thief, or just 2 chars or something, to control it better...you can stand out of view from the next set of guards (the ones you already passed to get where you are)...after killing them, put boots of speed on a character, and have that character storm into the chamber, switching the eggs, then speed out again and shut the door...then all those angry golems will be stuck inside, and I've never experienced that this aggroed anyone else...this is the way I do it every time
Cheers mate, that really helped! I got past it now.
I think my problem was I was too nice - I decided to NOT kill the two guards, and then when you leave the room they start yelling about thieves... And that's when everyone aggros!
