Need a challenge

I need some sort of creature that would challenge an 8th lv Paladin with the following.

17 str
12 dex
10 con
10 int
10 wis
14 cha

Weapons: Holy longsword, dagger, sling
Armor: half plate, light wooden shield
Gear: military saddle, grapling hook, flint&steel, Holy water flask, torch, Silver Holy symbol, spyglass, 2 immovible rods, ring of protection+1, 4040gp, and a Dire lion mount

19 AC This is all using 3.5 :angel:

Well you could always go up against demons and devils. But, its actually up to your DM to give you the challenges.

Just one character? Tricky. It depends on how much of a challenge. With just one character, the battle might be decided simply by who wins the spot check.

With those dreadful stats, pretty much anything CR 3-4 and above will severely challenge and probably kill that character. You can use a site like [url="http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/home.html"]this[/url], to search for monsters based on CR or type.
Some examples you can use: Mummy, Ogre, Troll, Vampire, Bearded Devil.
