Skymirror Bug

I've got OC and MoTB and current patch...

When I go to skymirror and cast a spell on the tree. If I look at the tree before casting it says white writing (you see blahh blahh)..

Then if I cast the spell. ok. Then click on the tree its a black text box but there is no option to do anything else. It just sticks my game. And I have to go to the task manager and quit NWN2.

This wouldn't be a problem, but I recall on the last tree (the owl) you have to click back on it to get the offering.

Does anyone else had this problem?

EDIT: found a fix....

The main character must interact with the tree first. You will get a black window text rather than white text with no black box...It is possible to click through and won't get you stuck...

Then a NPC druid must cast the spell by clicking hotbook to select the spell and right clicking on the tree.

Then the main character must click on the tree again which starts a dialogue with the NPC druid. The text will clear...

Do this for each tree and you will get the offering eventually which advances the plot...
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

I'm here today for this very same problem. Being a slow learner, I had it lock-up on me three times before I came here for the answer. I'll try the above solution and see if I can make that work.

Thanks

(I had to get a new computer to play this game; my old Win98 700 mhz just couldn't cut it.)
