Who Is The Portrait Artist For BG???

I am JakeBatchelor (a gamer moviemaker from youtube) and I am looking for the name of the artist who created the portraits in Baldur's Gate 1 because I will be using two of them in my movie and it is extremely important that I give the artist full and proper credit!

Does anyone know who it is? I can't find the name!

That information may very well never have been released, though you can try asking on the Bioware forums. Devs have been known to reply from time to time.

In any case it seems more than reasonable to just credit:

I heard the guy's name might be Quinto Hoover....but I cannot confirm this yet. I dunno about bioware forums....aren't they long dead and gone? Aren't they a ghost town now?

I´ll assume you mean the pretty faces that your character can choose in-game to represent your appearence. Well, it so happens that I believe I´ve found the name of the individual who painted the faces for BG. This link is for the official manual for the game. Now, in this manual on pg. 148 under the "Credits"-heading it says that Mike Sass did Portrait Art. I should think that´s the faces.

No problem. Many times you can find these kinds of informations in the game´s official manual.
