I do admit that this part is pretty tough and it took me 2 or 3 tries to get past them. If I recall what I did, I drank some potions (Swallow, Tawny Owl, etc.) and poisoned my sword before initiating conversation with Yaevinn (sp?). I recall constantly using a combination of melee plus magic (Aard and Igni).

During that sequence, the only potion I used was Cat. The rest I finished with a mix of Yrden and the styles, an occasional Igni when surrounded.
