I did a search, but all the answers referred to WinXP.
I've installed PS:T, with the 1.1 patch, all three of Quinn's packs. I have Vista 64bit, ATI Radeon HD 4800.
Whenever I cast a spell, the effects flicker or are overlapped by large squares. I can't find the hardwareaccelerator-tab that the previous threads speak of.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

enable software options? Options > Video Options > Software Transparency. I think.
Also try playing in 16 or 32 bit color.

The Software option is a no-go, since it makes the game crawl.
By playing in 16 or 32 bit, you're referring to desktop colourdepth?

Yeah PS:T has problems with 32 or 64 colordepth, 16 bits works best. (not always.)

I'll try it right away. Thanks in advance!
16-bit colourdepth doesn't solve anything.
Thanks for the suggestion, though.
