Stuck in weeping willow inn

I'm pretty mad right now. I am at the weeping willow inn and I know that I'm supposed to do something with the brawlers that are there, but I can't talk to them or anything!!!! I'm totally stuck. I have added most of the updates (not all since the latest one caused the game to not even start). I have checked out old posts about having enough free space for the temp files and I've got plenty, but i can't seem to figure out whats going on. I know what is supposed to happen in that area but I won't add any spoilers here. All I'll say is what is supposed to initiate everything isn't there. Any help would be awesome.

OK, fixed that with a copy of the ROS file for the character in my saved file, but now he won't follow at all. What a pain. Tried all the usual issuing verbal comands, checking puppet mode.. nothing helps.. hmm.. I guess I have to use NPC as leader until I sort this one out.

You might try right-clicking on the ground. If you hold down the button for a second, a menu will pop up, and selecting the broadcast command "follow me" will probably get everybody moving again.
