Fixing my broken fix.

Hi. I remember when I was playing the older versions of the game, and the warlocks drain health also applied to magic weaponry damage. Well, evidently the CE "fixed" this. That was my bread and butter for playing the warlock. I hate it now. Makes the study of magic weapons and dumping points there a lot less fulfilling. Can anyone instruct me on how best to fix this lame little fix? And put it back to the it used to be with the CE version?

Download Help

I tried mending the collectors edition, and patching it down so that drainlife would work the way it used to on magic weaponry, instead of spells. Well, to no avail. So I'm asking if anyone knows where I can download a patched version of the game, or the game client itself and I'll patch it up to 1.4.

I think it's total balls they changed it in the CE. Seriously, wizards have spellfire. Warlocks ascend from battle mages, getting bonuses in magical weapons and the drainlife skill. Those two skills were practically made for eachother. For an entirely different gameplay approach. As opposed to power casting, you could whip around your enchanted sword and leech health.

Anyway, that ends my little rant. If someone could help me to find a download and installation of a full working game client that's not the CE, I would appreciate it. Googled the hell out of it, and I keep finding demos.

I don't think it's any challenge at all to find a site that sells the non-CE version of Dungeon Lords, which means that's not what Vhan Tiegros is looking for, which means this thread is now closed. If you're looking for "free" versions of games, please go elsewhere.
