problems in Ust Natha

Post by jouke1988 »

Hey everyone,

I've got a huge problem in Ust Natha,

I came in the city heavily damaged, slept a few times, started the quest with soulafein and can't sleep anymore! Everytime I sleep the whole drow city want's to attack and kill me. I already figured I just could kill everyone but that would cost me a lot of XP wich is here to gain. Does anyone have a possibility to continue my quest and not kill all Ust Natha?

Thanx

Well, most quests in Ust Natha have time limit. That's the only place in the game with time limits, in fact. Probably you took too long to prepare and thus failed the quest. The drow decided that you were unloyal and attacked.

Ust Natha quests are time limited quests - take too long and the drows will get very angry at you - they start talking about "disloyalty etc" and then try to teach you a very painful lesson in time management - and hey they are drows so everything is serious for them - especially when you start to work for the matron.

On a related note - I played one time and mistimed something (rested too long for a lunch meeting after the arena duals or just wandering the Underdark - forget which) and whammo - the matron mother got angry and you know the rest of the story.

The best advice is too go back to a previous save before you rested - and spend some time healing and using potions/spells rather than resting - but if you play like me with no reloads (if things go wrong they go wrong - no redoes) then you have to fight your way out and lose a ton of XP and some very good items - of course I think you can complete the other quests even if you defeat the Drow city - you just won't get the XP for finishing their quests. Ah well if you sleep late you get punished - a warning too all those sleepy heads who use REST as a cheap way to heal instead of using all those carefully hoarded extra healing potions. :)
