Problems on Tattooine

Hey, I'm having a problem on Tattooine. I have gotten the sand people uniforms and put them on, but whenever i get close to the sand people enclave, the turrets shoot me. I've tried fighting them, but they don't take any damage. Is there any way to defeat or get past them?

This has been posted before... there is a bug in the sand people clothing. If you put it on and your defense rating is showing as "--" it won't work. take it off and put it on again. If there are more than 1 kind listed in your options, one group of them will have a defense rating and one will have a rating of "--" as before.

I can't recall if you need all non-droids to wear them or not.
