Physical shield

Post by whitetail »

I have said it before but I believe it is worth repeating.
This is without a doubt the best game sihgt on the net .
What I need to know is what is the physical shield ,how do I get it and how do I activate it?
I just got the game so I know nothing yet .
I used this sight with the witcher and it proved invaluable .
Can anyone help get me started? :p

Physical shield is a spell which, when activated, protects you from any attacks (melee, magic, ranged, etc.) and each time you get hit, it reduces your mana. Hope it is a good enough explanation. :)

As for how to get it, you should be able to get it at the experience portal (green one) in the guild. Can't remember which specific category as it's been a while, but I remember that it is in the magic spell section.

As for activating it, if you map it to your function keys, just press that key and it will be activated. If you didn't assign it, you will have to press the 'Shift' key and scroll down until you see it and press the left/right mouse button to activate it. Note that this is for the PC version. I'm not sure how it works on the console version.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

True true

Probably the best part about this spell is that while it's up you won't lose any bonus XP modifier. It allows you to grind a lot of XP very fast later on, but you'll learn about that stuff soon enough.

because other classes would be frowned upon for laying their hands on a wounded companion
