OK, gotcha about the 'drain-life' nether spell. I haven't used that one much. Here is one screenshot I thought was pretty cool at least. It's kinda freaky to me, being as I'm terrified of pretty much ANYTHING underwater! (but I'm an avid fisherwoman, imagine that??) Lol. But here it is, and sorry about all the convo!

sorry for not posting (dont have a cow) i tried and it didnt work but i think that underwater pic is hilarious. i always stay on the surfce if i can as the athletics i think doesnt work on underwater diving all that good. well i have stat pics of 3 characters first is a adept/battlemage/warwitch, second paladin/hatamoto, and third is a adept/enchantress/wizard cause i loved the 4 learning bonus's of the 2 classes combined. fourth is me casting a healing spell and fifth is well you'll see (celestial doesnt have much dmg

)

Just a question

Hi there,
Been playing DL for some time now. Collectors edition.
I was just wondering how you get that personal stats infoscreen ? Also I see alot of equipment I havent seen before in my game, are those modded or something ? Or is there an expansion for the game I don't know about.

When you go to your character screen (C), mouse over your character's name.

Some people apparently have made custom art for their armor. The art would replace the art for default armor, but all the stats remained the same. In most cases, I've noticed they had posted to say if it was created content. If you're not sure, you could always ask - but you'll have to be more specific (post in the topic with the screen shot in question, and tell us what post number, and which screen shot if there is more than one).

now that you mentioned the change of textures I've been browsing the game folder and saw that most textures are BMPfiles. been messing around with them a bit myself

first is a close up of a fire drake. second is top of fargrove castle. third is me capturing the flag (before the sewers). and last is of a giant(minion) versus a wylvan and the wylvans minions. the giant won but not by much.

even more pics

i messed around with some nether summons here are the pics and what the results were. first guradian versus minator, stalemate, who knew they wouldn't attack each other? second fiend versus minator, minator, the fiend just didnt have enough brains to fly up and flame the minator while not being attacked so it combo'd flaming and melee but at very slow attack speed. third was divine intervention versus minator, divine intervention, the angle just let the lightning fly and with a few sword wacks placed every now and then she beat the minator at around half health left. last is a pack of rat versus a thrall in the arena, thrall, the rats just suck big time took 1 or 2 sword wacks per rat with rats doing almost nothing to the thrall. btw that was 1 cast of the summon rats(lvl19 nether).

Were those summons sent out to sample how they would do?
I sometimes make summons to see what they all can do such and such and I like to use a bunch of summons while I'm away from the pc, because I'v been playing online recently on my own.

No one really is on these days anymore.
I get a bit lonely in there lol.

What did you think of my pics I put up?
I hope they were ok.

yes i just like to mess around with summons but i never leave my computer unless im in a safe place and if i do leave it im usually gone for a while. i do like your staff/polearm pic where it looks like fire ball arura above your head. if my eyes dont deceive me are you an elf? if you are an elf why is your intelect not at 150 or more? i raised the intelect on my zaur to over what you have yours

and if i can do that on a zaur with the second highest intelect cost you surely could on a elf male with the second lowest. btw how it the fear strike? i have never had a deathknight to know.

Death Knight and Fear strike???

I think your mistaking those two, first of all class and the skill Death strike for world of warcraft. This is dungeon lords you goof! lol not world of warcraft. But I do play world of Warcraft. Still I'm a a elf in my case I call myself a blood elf because I soke myself in the blood of the fallen and I like to hunt mostly at night. I'm just and elf but I go as a blood elf because

1) I like to kill.
2) I kill to much.
3) I'm a Death Lord that surrendered to darkness and though Death itself may still have a grasp on me, I still fight for the good of all.

4) My intellect, Don't worry about it, I'm working on that.
5) I use force mostly and not so much magic even though I got like 2m cataclysms or what ever. Sheesh, if you have C 1.5 you should see me in game.

yes i goofed i meant deathlord instead of deathknight. but you do have fear strike as an add on of your hearldry. The Conqueror Fear Strike +25%, Strike +3 Deathlord Ascension

Was a bit confused but things are cleared now.

Anyways I have not had much luck finding anyone online so I could take screenshots. if anyone is up to it so we can put those screenshots into this wonderful long lasting thread here that would be great. We could discuss things and ways of being creative and capturing funny shots while at it. Like Nel said. it's all about having fun and being creative.

So what about it everyone? shall we bring this thread back to life? if you can get online and you got C1.5 then all means please do let me know through my pm on here and we will get started.

I mean come guys it's about time we get Nels thread going again. I don't know what happened to all those cool peeps on here. but who ever posted that one with the dwarf in the thong and breast top got my busting my rear off from laughing. If we could do something that could make people laugh then maybe we could start a comedy screenshot story on here. I'm so sure how to do comedy but eh, You never know until you try. anyways just pm me on here so we don't like get really off topic here and we will see when we can do this.

The Fargrove Mystery

On the second playthrough with my elf, I fooled around and went up into the mountains (in the area marked with a green circle on the minimap) before entering the sewers, only to find Fargrove had disappeared, even though it was showing on the map.
