How to set up skill hotkey?

Post by demigame »

hello, i am new to BD...

i am level 10 now, i have 4 major skill
1. warrior->melee->one hand-> slash
2. mage->xxx->elemental attack-> fire
3. survial-> xxx-> xxx-> equipment identified.
4. warrior ->range attack-> bow

Can i set up a hotkey for these skills ? I want to quickly switch skill when in combat (ex. melee/bow) .
If it can setup, how to do ?

Identify, slashing, and range attack are all passive skills, so you don't have to switch between them. For example, as long you are using a bow, your range attack skills will work automatically.

If you want to switch weapons, you have to do it from your inventory.

Can't you use the F-keys for hotkeying, like in the first part?
Open the skills, highlight the one you want, and press the F-key you'd like to link to?

YES - that was a big mistake on my part! But skill hotkeys are linked - meaning the Deathknight and your character will switch skills at the same time - this is probably why I never used them.

Just to be clear: I don't mean the letter "F" key, but the F1, F2, ... keys above the regular keys.
If Deathknight has no skills with Fkeys, he simply keeps using the one he is now. If he has some assigned to the same Fkey, he switches to that one.
