How come and this website doesn't have any reference to the "Gothic" franchise? (Gothic 1,2,3) They are truly amazing RPG's, especially the first two!
It would be amazing to see a walkthrough on them, or in the upcoming gothic 4 at least!!! Give them a chance!
"Gothic" games???

Thread moved to proper forum.
As far as the games go, they generate very little traffic on the boards. This may pick up as the next game gets closer to release, but right now, there just isn't all that much member interest in the series. I don't know exactly what considerations go into whether or not the site posts a walkthrough of a certain game or not, but I would assume both the general lack of interest shown in forum traffic and the age of the series figures into the equation.
All that could be subject to change I would imagine depending on the reception the next game gets, but those kinds of things are determined by people higher up the ladder than I am.

I imagine that if anyone was willing to write a new full walkthrough with screenshots/maps etc for the games they would be added to the site.
But at the moment it's not very practical for the site owner himself to do this. There are many sources for Gothic games on the web already and enough new other games to add as they are released.

There is a game guide of Gothic 3 on Gamepressure, but the previous games don't have any and you will have to resort to text walkthroughs at GameFAQs.Elevoros wrote:It would be amazing to see a walkthrough on them, or in the upcoming gothic 4 at least!!! Personally, I have never been a fan of the Gothic series. Played all three of them and I didn't like them. First two games' combat reminded me of a broken version of Time Commando's combat and while the third is slightly better, I still didn't find it good.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
Thanks for the info guys!
I have seen some walkthroughs, I am usualy using them after I finish the game,in order to reveal all it's secrets I could'nt find on my own...and this site has the best walkthroughs in the web in my opinion.
The Gothic games have their problems of course, but for some reason the general "mood" of these games is something special...they could have worked more on the fighting system...that's true...
