So I just got Fallout 3. It's excellent. But when you just start out [really really lame spoiler]Spoiler
in Vault 101, when the Overseer's goons are attacking you
if you go into your dad's recently torn up office he has revelation 21:6 on his wall. If you point at it you will see that you need 50 lockpick skill to open it. How is this possible? I've gotten up to 47(LUCK and PERCEPTION both at 10, and the Vault 101 utility jumpsuit on), but that is the highest I can go, because once you exit the Vault and level up you can't get back in. So I ask, How can you get 50 lockpick skill in Vault 101?
It takes 43 muscles to frown and only 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face
Hmm im not sure if being nice to her has a bearing on the quest later. SPOILERSpoiler
Though killing her father, the Overseer, probably has. So as long as you don't kill the dad when escaping 1st time around, you should be able to return and plunder the spoils of Vault 101
Love is just a chemical. We give it meaning by choice ~ Eleanor Lamb, Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams
You can kill the Overseer and still get the quest to return to the vault. So far as I know it doesn't matter how you treat Amata; the quest is always available.
