Trying to leave Avestrue

I have finished all the quests and received permission from Tollkeeper Nandor to leave. I go across the bridge and a message asks if I'm sure I want to leave. I click on ok and the world map pops up. There is nothing on the map to tell me what I'm supposed to do. I try clicking all over it, finally give up and hit the X and go nowhere.

What am I missing?

Click on the city, the one that highlights when you hover your mouse cursor over.

Thanks for answering. I had tried to click on the city but it wasn't working. I finished up all my quests, then it worked.
