Making Khelgar A Monk? *possible spoilers*

Making Khelgar A Monk? *possible spoilers*

I have completed Khelgars vision quests but I still can't convince him to become a monk (the priest in the temple of Tyr says they will train him any time but when I ask him about it says influence failure). Is there a certain influence value I have to reach before he will become a monk or what?

If it says "influence failure" that means you'll need to gain more influence with him before you'll be able to proceed. If you don't mind some spoilers, you can look [url="http://www.gamebanshee.com/neverwinternights2/companions/khelgar.php"]here[/url] for some sources of influence.
