Problem with Resurrecting Hostage in Hell

Post by LitShadowolf »

On the test labelled for selfishness, I took the doors that damaged the hostage (Jaheira). When she died, I resurrected her with my "Raise Dead" scroll, and she's alive again.

There's a problem, though. Like usual, she has 1 hit point, but I can't control her. She has a yellow circle around her feet, and she seems like she's been petrified. I killed her and rezzed her again, and it looks like she's KO'ed but with health left. I casted "Resist Fear" on the party, so now she has a green circle, but I still can't order her around.

Is this a bug, or is the game pushing me to make the selfless decision of being forever scarred--even more so than I already am (what with sacrificing my constitution back at the battle against Bhaal)?

I've hit all sorts of bugs when playing an evil character at that point in the game, but not this one, I've never had Jaheira in the party with an evil character though.

My first thought is that you've finally pissed her off enough that she should leave the party, but because of the location she can't actually leave, so you're stuck in a loop. I'm not sure if you can even drop party members in the Abyss, but if you can you could try dropping her before taking the trial. Other than that, leave that trial to last and manage without her seems to be the only option.
