Radiated - The Glow

I took a Rad X before entering. Now when I am leaving, I try to travel away from the glow and I die. I rest and I die. i ate up all my Radaways, still I die, I eat some more Rad Xs, still I die. My gieger counter says my radiation level is over 5000, when I eat all my Radaways(6) it brings me down to 4995 radiationb level. Is this right? The walkthrough stated that one Rad X would be enough before I enetered, and I didn't waste anytime in the Glow, I cleared it out as fast as possible. What did I do wrong? I assume I keep dying from radiation poisoning.

One Rad-X isn't enough. You get so much radiation so fast that 50 percent radiation resistance isn't enough if you do more than running to the Brotherhood corpse, taking the disk and running out again. 2 Rad-X make you immune. Don't eat the Radaway or look at your radiation level at the glow, you'll get radiated even more if you stay there. Travel a little on the map screen before doing so.
Radiation lowers your stats after some time, if a stat reaches 0 you die. If you have a lot of stat raising drugs you might survive the travel to the Brotherhood and get cured there by the doctor.

But I recommend reloading a save before entering the glow and getting 100 radiation resistance with RAd-X before entering the area.

If all else fails, and you don't want to give up this game, try a savegame editor.

Thanks guys, yeah, I'm gonna start over at the Brotherhood, just before I head to the Glow. Thanks again.

You can edit your saved games? Nevermind I will do a search.
