I recently reinstalled BG2+TOB, and also installed the official patch and the Baldurdash patch. Just started a new game and there's a Two Handed Sword +2 in the Goblins corridor just west of the first Genie. Was this added in the Baldurdash patch? If so, why?
Edit: I don't know whether it was just laying on the floor or one of the goblins dropped it... I would assume the latter.

Un-patched games seem to have this bug. There's a thread on this first page called "Long Sword +2 for Thieves" or something like that where we discuss a similar situation.

I was wrong in my first post. I only have the official patch, and not the Baldurdash one. I was thinking of BG1.. that's what I installed a Baldushdash patch for.
I've installed and uninstalled the game countless times, and I'm not sure whether this is the first time I've used a patch. It's the first time I've found anything like this.
