Both OA and the Pitt can be played any time you want. Haven't played neither one myself, so can't give you any recommendations on which one should be done first.BlueSky wrote:I know BS is after the main quest...

That may as well be, because you start OA without any equipment from outside, thus you won't get any benefits from items gained from Pitt... on the other hand the possible benefits (items?) may as well help you through Pitts... Of course this doesn't take in account how hard the enemies are in OA and Pitts, as that could affect the level each one is recommended for...BlueSky wrote:Thanks Kipi:

Just played OA, and in terms of the quests in the core game you could play it any time. I doesn't interfere with or depend on any of the core game quests that I could tell. In terms of level, you probably want at least a mid level character. Even if the enemies are leveled like the core game, even a low level NPC in a stealth suit is going to be a challenge to a low-level character. And don't start it unless you're willing to spend a few hours away from the main quest, because once you enter the simulation the only way out is to finish the mission.
Haven't played the Pitt yet, so I can't comment.

Can the answer to this question be "No"?

For about half of the Pitt, you don't have access to whatever you bring with you. AS such, the order of playing Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Point Lookout (not yet released) and the Mothership Zeta (also not yet released) doesn't really matter.
Personally, I tend to play them in the order of release, but that is JUST ME. PLay them in whatever order you think is fun.

Are the modules 'embedded' within the main game ie you catch a boat to them or whatever, or do they stand alone ie you import/ create a character.
If they are 'embedded', if installed part way through a game of Fallout 3 will you be able to play them, or must it be from a new game with the mods installed?
