Witcher Expansion or Witcher 2?

Just finished The Witcher and absolutely loved it! Will there be an expansion for this great game or will there be a Witcher 2? Can't wait for either one or both.

There's a number of modules that provide a few extra hours of quests that are available for download on the official website.

I believe that The Witcher 2 has either been announced or is heavily suspected of being in development, though I'm not sure which.

It is a shame but from what I have read recently NO. 2 has been put on hold .
But this could be a commecial extension

From what I've seen on the official website and other forums, the console version of the game (Rise of the White Wolf) has been morted. CD Projeckt is playing it close to vest on what's coming and will only say that they have a major announcement planned for later this year on the future of The Witcher. Speculation is that they will be announcing Witcher II.
