Help with Fort Blueblood

Post by nubbiess »

I am on my last mages guild recommendation at Fort Blueblood and I have defeated all the marauders I could find and then crossed the bridge to fight a tough orc marauder that was directly in front of a door that I need a key to enter. I did not find a key on the orc and can find no other enemies that might have the key. I am stuck. Any help is appreciated.

Marauder Warlord

does anyone know if the marauder warlord was the marauder orc who was the last person I defeated? I could not find a key on him or on any of the other defeated enemies.

If i recall correctly, the marauder warlord will be labeled such. Seeing as the key is unavailable, you could try using the console to unlock the door, or load back from a previous save.

Assuming you wanna use the console, just activate it with the tilde key and select the door in question by clicking ur cursor on it, then type unlock. Should solve ur problem.

On the PC, if you do not wish to fight Kalthar, or you are not confronted by him, you can open the Console by pressing '~', and type:

setstage MG07Leyawiin 70

This should update your journal and you can continue as normal. If you do not do this, the quest will freeze at stage 60, and you cannot continue.
From the UESPWiki.

Type this in and you can just go back to the guildhall and finish the quest.

Thanks for the tip. I will look again for the marauder warlord tonight and see if I can find the key. I am using a ps3 so I am unsure what you mean by typing on the console. Thanks again.

The console can only be used on the PC. Which means the only way for you on a PS3 to continue is to try and reload from a prior save.. too bad :o

I have looked everywhete and cannot find the marauder warlord. Is there a key needed to just get to the overlord or is the blueblood the only one? I have been saving over previous checkpoints so it will take a couple days to get back to this point.

Maybe looking thru the walkthrough might help.
