Hello i`m new here and wanna say to all greetings.
I`m from Bulgarian and i`m little bit bad with English but i think i can handle with the topic
I wanna create a perfect character for the Kotor, perfect soldier so i beg in you to help me with that task
So let`s started:
First i wanna know which is the better dark side or light side for guardian?
It`s Recommended to be a low or high level when go to Jedi guardian ?
Simply 10 or 9 or 11 or 13 or 5-6 ?
Second is the attributes:
Where can spend the point:
Str-16
Dex-14
Cons-16
Wis-12
Int-8
Char-8
That good or bad ?
I wanna everyone of you to know that i`m play that game not once but now want the perfect guide for this character and will be very thankfully for that
Next is the feats.
I always start with toughness because give me every level health and it`s recommended to start with that because in the end of the game will have more hp.
Here i wanna know which is the best feat to use with lightsaber flurry or critical strike.
With the rest i will handle myself i will play with one lightsaber
Skills:
If i go to Persuade whether i can convince all to do what i want
Ask for that only for the quest of Canderous Ordoon on Tatooine.
And want to know have a matter that if i`m a fully light namely if i not receive even one dark side point meaning have a matter will be more powerful or not or not matter if i`m fully light but receive some dark points in the beginning.
I will be really thankful if you help me
I`m sorry for my bad English but i`ll try next time to be better

Hello and welcome to GameBanshee
On to your questions. First, id recommend as many levels as possible for the jedi guardian. Try and hold ur soldier's level at five or six, just enough to get you through Taris. The reason i say this is kinda obvious. The more jedi levels you have, the more force powers/points you get to use. Besides, the attribute/skill/feat progression for a soldier is similar to that of a guardian, so there is no point in taking too many soldier levels.
As for alignment, its really up to you. Since you have completed the game before, which force powers appeal to you? If you like the lightsided ones, then take the lightside path. Personally id recommend LS. Sure you lose out on death field and shock, but other powers like stasis, stun droid and almost all buffs become ludicrously cheap.
Secondly, ur stats. Your original spread of attributes seem pretty decent already. If i had to tweak it, it would look something like this;
Str-15
Dex-14
Cons-15
Wis-14
Int-8
Char-10
The logic being guardians and soldiers already get lots of health per level up. So a very high constitution is quite redundant imho, even more so if you take the toughness feat. And wis and charisma is always useful for force powers and some persuades.
As for the feats, id recommend flurry. Works well with the burst of speed line of force powers. I don't really like to rely on rolls to make my crit strike as deadly as flurry.
For skills, persuade is always crucial. As the main character, i suggest investing heavily in it. The only problem is that ur charisma is quite low to begin with, and that might be slightly problematic. Other good skills to take would prolly be repair... if only to fix hk-47 for his cool bonuses
Also try looking through the GB strategy guides for more tips or ideas.

Yep, you can use a persuade to avoid a fight with Jagi. SPOILER (highlight to read)lordlosh wrote:Canderous Ordo side-quest with Jagi his quest i think it can be complete if you not persuade Jagi
Spoiler
If you succeed in the persuade, Jagi will take his own life... but his two cohorts will open up hostilities. They are easy kills tho.

When you kill Jagi or persuade him to kill himself your journal will update the two related quests. Depending on how you solved it, the "Jagi's Challenge" quest will be completed appropriately. I.e. If you killed him, your journal will say so, and vice versa.lordlosh wrote:But last time i play the game i choice to fight and the quest is not accomplished i don`t know why.
But the "Canderous" quest doesn't get completed until you reach the unknown world. It will read something like this: "Canderous has been oddly affected by the encounter with Jagi and needs sometime to think about what it means to him". Or something along those lines.
If you couldn't complete the Jagi's Challenge quest, then i assume you might have hit a bug in that game.
The only reason to play a certain alignment if for the reduced expenses of force powers. I.e LS players get cheaper LS powers and DS players likewise. Throughout the game, there are plenty of chances to alter ur alignment drastically or keep it on a set track to get LS/DS mastery. So a couple of carefully planned DS points here and there wont affect you much. You can make up for it later in the game. Even the best of heroes succumbs to his inner darkness once in awhilelordlosh wrote:I think i`ll play light side man, but in the beginning i will receive dark side point on the arena
But that`s no matter ?

I want to ask you for another quest The Redemption on Dantoine
I will tell you when i go to that quest with Canderous
I will send you LS when i start the game and we will talk
Thanks again man And may the force be with you

You could also use the search function of our forums to find more threads pertaining to guardian builds... if you need any alternative ideas. I am pretty sure this is a matter that has been discussed before on more than one occasion.lordlosh wrote:I wish to write more builds for perfect jedi guardian for you
