NPC Romance ? Airie

Post by Jordoo »

Slight Spoiler, but only if you've never played.

I have already completed most of the open quests to me before going to spell hold. I have completet the SOA romance with Airie. I saved up every possible scroll I could get my hands on for Imoen, so here's my question if I drop everyone from my party except Imoen so I can use the scrolls to boost he experiance up as much as possible will it effect my romance status with Airie? I will take her back in right afterwords and will be playing on into TOB so I don't mess it up or miss out on the Vampire Quest when I get back.
:) Once again time to give someone the boot to make room for Coran. LOL :)

There are ways of exploiting glitches to get round it, but the short answer is if you remove Aerie it's romance over.

As she need all the XP she can get anyway if you plan keeping her until the end. Believe me there's more than enough XP to get you to the cap (if you haven't disabled it) long before you reach the end or ToB. Depending on the size of your party you could even start getting HLAs by the time you reach Ust-Natha.

Spoiler regarding the romance in Ust-Natha, highlight to read:
Spoiler
I really hope you have good charisma when you reach that city by the way. If you have then you can talk your way out of an intimate encounter with a certain Drow. If you have less than (I think it's 15, but check elsewhere if necessary) high charisma you can't and you end up with a choice between the Drow and Aerie effectively. To keep the romance going at that point you have to refuse the Drow, which instantly turns all of Ust-Natha hostile.
End of spoiler.

Thanks galraen! I was afraid that it might end things with Airie, but you make a good point about her experiance especially since she is the only Multiclass player in my group which consists of Minsc(hacked to barbarian), Anomen, Jan and Airie. I think I'll take your advice and just drop Anomen, Minsc and Jan for that scroll reading session.
Oh and on the other note thanks for the heads up, but I had that one covered because my PC is an Inquisiter so he will make the check.
