Dwarf king and guard fight in Murolosh

How in gods name do you beat the king and guards without killing them !? I've tried to put them to sleep , too many of them any help on this one ? Thanks

I killed all the guards and wailed on the king until a cut scene took place after he lost enough HPs. AFAIK, it's not possible to kill him.

After 4 attempts to not kill anyone I went around against the walls and came up behind the king, beat him and never had to kill any one which got me 2 gifts...

That's an interesting alternative - I never even thought of NOT killing them (although I did try to sneak up once to the right side but was caught by a guard).

My sneaking had nothing to do with not killing them though, just controlled aggro.

I'll have to try that next time as I believe I've always only received 1 gift for rescuing the king. Thanks for the tip!

Cast "Ice cold warrior" on every body and go straight to the king, use skill that cause wound and the fight will be over before you know it.
