Ravel's maze (spoiler)

I have a problem in there...I just can't get out of there, silly as it may sound. I've read some walkthroughs and whatnot, they say that a dialogue should open (once getting close to the portal), but me gets none. That excuse of a portal only gets me to the other ones. Am I doing something wrong? So what should I do? This is my very first time playing this game, and I'm quite content with it.
Help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

The problem is that in the vanilla game, certain portals stop working if you change class/faction/alignment. Saving and reloading should reset it all though. Just don't change class again until you're through.

This bug was fixed by my Fixpack.

Ah, yes, now that I tried it today, it worked! I just thought I had lost some vital item (something as vital as the "junk" one gets from the mortuary...I thank God that I had dumped that junk to mausoleum, where it was easy to find). Well, thanks again!
