Battlemage: Whats the best race?

Post by bablee1 »

Just wanted to know about this class. I think I would like to try this one as I like being able to fight but also like using magic. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. What race you think is best and what to choose for my birthsign. Thank you. :)

Breton, or Altmer. Both give you a nice bonus to magicka.

Thank you fable, that helped a lot. I wonder what you would suggest for a birthsign here. :)

If you want to push magic, go with Apprentice. Or if you prefer to push the melee side, consider Warrior.

One more question for you. If I create a new character will that erase the one I am playing now. I searched the Oblivion folder and did not see a saved game folder. I was going to move it if necessary to save my first character.
Thank you :)

No, it shouldn't. You can create as many save games as you have drive space, if it comes to that. I always rotate saves over 8 saved games. Just be sure to choose a new saved game slot for your new character.

Oblivion saves can be located under My Documents, i think. If you are running xp, as i am, it should be in the "My Games" sub-folder
