Hey everyone,
Big VTM fan here, simply can't get enough of this game. I was actually thinking about participating in a mod that extends the game. Like creating a side-quest pack or something. I've been told I'm quite the writer, if that is anything worth contributing. I was going to start jotting down some ideas, but maybe I'll just wait to see if anyone is interested in helping out/if it is even possible to infuse the game with new characters/quests.
Hope some of you out there are interested, don't think I can make a go of this on my own lol Anyway, thanks for reading.
Anyone interested?

Sounds like quite a task. I would love to see the world of VTMB expanded, but without really talented programmers and voice actors, I wouldn't touch the original game at all.
With that being said, simple side quests could be possible through the PC's computer email. A good example would be the Werewolf blood side quest assigned to your character by LaCroix. No additional dialog or locations were needed in this one.
Thats just my 2 cents. I'd like to hear some of your ideas though, no offense taken if you'd like to keep your writings to yourself

Hmmm, you make some good points, it would be much easier to implement quests through email, although I would still need a programmer(s) for that.
As for not touching the original game, perhaps a stand-alone expansion with some art assets re-used, but with completely new characters/plot? Not anything too ambitious, mind you.
About my ideas for side-quests, one was about finding a magic talisman for a Semadi assassin (hope you know of that clan), that slows down the aging process (from what I read they lead a short existence). I haven't thought about else anything in depth, as I wouldn't want to waste the effort if I didn't have anyone to back me, you know? Anyway, thanks for your interest. If you know any talented voice actors/programmers, let me know! (they'd presumably have to be VTMB fans as well, obviously heh).
But, I might take the time soon to write out a full-flegged side-quest as an example of my writing.
