Better Lightsaber Combos

I was looking throught the Lightsaber upgrade guide and I realized I had found 2 better upgrades then what you had on there. I decided I shall post them...

Opila:
Damage: +3, Energy
Mass criticals: 206

First Lightsaber:
Crystal 1: Opila (I noticed that this one isn't on the list. I can't remember where I got this one, but its on the xbox verson.)
Crystal 2: Adegan
Cell: Ultimate Diatium Energy Cell
Emitter: Expert Fencing Emitter
Lens: Dragite Lens

Total Lightsaber Damage: energy, 17-35
Defense Bonus: 2

2nd Lightsaber:
Crystal 1: Opila
Crystal 2: Jenraux
Cell: Ultimate Diatium Energy Cell
Emitter: Expert Fencing Emitter
Lens: Dragite Lens

Total Lightsaber Damage: energy, 17-35
Defense Bonus: 2
Blaster Bolt Deflection: +5

I usually use a Pontite lens, because you get +1 Attack and +1 - 12 Damage.

I like to go with;

1. Ultimate Diatium Cell
2. Expert Fencing Emitter
3. Pontite Lens

My Favorite crystals are the Upari, Solari, and Ultima Pearl.

This combo should maximize damage as well as attack bonus.

BUT, if you are using the feat that improves your chances of a critical strike, then you might consider using crystals and/or upgrades that add to your criticals.

I do the same thing, but usually use an Expert Deflection Emitter instead.

Double Bladed Lightsaber

1. Pontite Lens
2. Expert Fencing Emitter
3. Crystal, Red or Crystal, Silver
4. Ultimate Diatium Energy Cell
5. Your Character's Crystal or Crystal, Upari or Crystal, Barab Ore Ingot or crystal, Hurrikaine

That's The Ultimate Lightsaber

NOTE: you could also go with 2 single bladed lightsabers instead of 1 doublebladed lightsaber.

I just prefer the double bladed because it looks badass.

Lol I have to say, I just finished the game the 2nd time (Just got it last week) and this time I played the dark side and on the hardest difficulty level. Both my Sabres were no where near anything you're all describing, I believe the better one was something like 9-37....

There are items you're describing that I've never seen playing through the game and I thought I was quite thorough running through the 2nd time... I stopped and checked every merchant's stocks and researched everything I saw possible. So my question is, wtf do you get these ultra super dooper items? Am I missing something??

oh and BTW, playing the DS is much easier, much more fun and much more rewarding. I guess that's why it's called The Sith Lords

Most of the crystals can be found in the game... if your first stop is dantooine, you are quite likely to be able to purchase or find some pretty good crystals there itself, which includes of course the uber <Player Name> Crystal which is a must in your lightsaber, imho.

Also, unless i am mistaken, the item lists that some vendors have are random generated when you first speak to them. Which means if you save the game before speaking to vendor X, you could then browse his inventory for any items/crystals that you desire. If you find it lacking, then just reload the game and speak to him again. The items list will vary slightly... i think, could be wrong though.

Lastly, as i am sure you know, the upgrade parts for a lightsaber can be made at a workbench. This of course relies on skills, so the better your skill, the better the upgrade part.
