Drizzt Questions?

Post by elephantman »

1. How do I get Drizzt's swords w/o killing him?

2. For the Bodhi's last fight, can I have Drizzt, the paladins and Shadow thieves as my allies? I mean to get ALL of them at the same time?

3. How do I kill Firkragg the RED DRAGON? I use to have Yoshimo use his traps but now that he is gone I have no one with that capability. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

4. Viconia left my party when my rep became 20. Will I ever meet her again?

thanks

after the first meeting after the underdark, you have to go into the graveyard district, go into the caverns, and meet him and his friends in the place where you get mace of disruption, then his friends leave and he follows you around.

Yes, you can get the paladins, the thieves, and Drizzt all to help you out. Unfortunately though, only one paladin, one thief, and Drizzt end up sticking around, so you really only have three allies for the big fight. Still, three is better than none :)

@ Dying Wizard: The Fireball thing is not a bug. The commanding paladin wields the twohanded sword "Harbringer" which is supposed is have the soul of a demon enslaved. Anyway, to make a long story short, the sword has a 5% "chance" to have a fireball erupt with every succesful hit.

It think it's an error from the developers side, as it is kind of strange that my own paladin got accused of being a traitor, without doing anything.
Besides, when I went back to the Radiant Heart the prelate did nothing but sing my praises for vanquising the great evil.

In reply to elephantman....

I have not been able to steal anything off Drizzt...and this is with a 200% chance of success and using the gloves of pickpocket so i'm unsure if it can be done...the only way i have been able to get his stuff is by killing him and thats a bit tough too...btw it's easier to kill him and his friends when you first meet them after the Underdark....

@Silvanerian, thanks for the info, do you know of anything that would stop it (the fireball) besides ctrl+q him in the party?

To Dying Wizard:
Hmm....if you want to stop the effect, I would suggest getting into the Shadowkeepers "Creature Browser" and get the paladins stats out. Then I would switch the harbringer sword with a regular +3 twohanded sword (or any other weapon). As you only change the weapon, I don't think that it will effect anything in the game besides the random fireball effect.

Hope this helps.

Yeah you can get all 3 groups.
If you are i've heard, that you can get some church members to help, but not sure.
Drizzt and friends are in the northern most room, (north of the tombs where you stake the vamps.)
The paladins are where you enter(the door in which you enter near the tombs room)
The thieves are in the hallway that was where the golem opened the door in Chap. 3.
Drizzt sends his friends off, saying its too dangerous. He goes down with you, so does Arkanis Garth of the shadow thieves, and the paladin.
