Saerileth ?

Post by Jordoo »

For anyone who has played the Saerileth MOD.

Is there anything important I should do before hitting spellhold?

I'm worried because we've never run into this fallen deva of her's and I've been all over Amn, everywhere that I can think of.

I'm pretty far along in the relationship part, killed the dragon, rescued Saeri after the demon took her, got rid of Alderon(whatever his name was) and made what I thought was all the right conversation choices. She's as happy as ever with me but she's never mentioned anything about the fallen deva basically since she joined the group.
:) Once again time to give someone the boot to make room for Coran. LOL :)

If I recall correctly that comes much later, going to Spellhold shouldn't be a problem I think. You took out the Dragon I'm impressed that [expletive deleted] gave me no end of trouble.

Have you visited Watcher's Keep with Saerileth?

PS It may be worth checking out this forum if you have doubts.

You do the fallen deva quest (spoiler)-
Spoiler
right after meeting Drizzt, a messager tells you that Kesevar is at Watcher's Keep. He's near that big rock outside the keep.

Thanks, galraen.
I got wiped by that dragon the first 3 times. It's alot different just walking up to a dragon and having them go right at you, plus you can't really surround him. I basically got lucky the forth time, he failed a save he had made the other three. I am running PC(dueled fi/cl), Saeri, Keto, Nalia and the party was pretty low level when I got there so I was considering leaving and coming back but then I got lucky.

Haven't been to the keep although I did just give Keto a proficiency point in crossbows so I was going to head over and buy some stuff plus clear out the top level.

Looks like no ones been on that forum in years, still probably has any answers I'd need if I get stuck, thanks again man.

Thanks Sain, if I get stuck I'll check out your spoiler. Unless your saying I shouldn't head to spellhold?

Hmmmmm ....... might not be able to get back to this game untill the weekend, seems my wife has alot to do this week as do I which only leaves a little bit of time for gaming after tucking in the little ones.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll let you know if I have any troubles. I'll also probably post a review of this MOD here when I'm finished since it seems that the Saerileth forum is closed down.

Maybe you should stop confusing people by locking one forum and starting up identical ones CoM_S. Seems like a crazy idea to me. It may also help to keep modders who you have forums for up to date, as the main site for Saerileth links to the locked forum.

Thanks for the link CoM Solaufein,
I agree with Galraen seems strange that the locked forum would be the main forum link for Saerileth. Why not link the active forum as Saeri's main forum link and then have an Archived forum link to the locked forum on the active forum? Just a thought.

I'm afraid I don't control the will of others. The website belongs to the retired modders of Saerileth its up to them if they feel the need to update their own site. And as for the old forum still around, its there for archival purposes. Until they update their site, I don't link to it.

I see, thanks for the info. So does that mean the Saerileth MOD creators don't answer questions about it anymore?

I still don't understand why you locked one Saerileth forum and then started up another. If you advised the Saerileth modders that you were doing that then obviously it is down to them to update their site.

Basically no. If there are questions fellow fans will have to answer them or you can do a search at the new forum or old to see if there was a similar question.

They know where the new forum is, they have the up to date mods that they allowed someone to update for them. They don't want to update their site that's their problem.

OK then, back to Saerileth.

Got a chance to play last night and went through spellhold. Saerileth's strength of character comes shining through in her Imoen conversations and of course her handling of PC's little Bodhi/first-rest misshaps. Really excellent writting, IMO, especially the Imoen/Saeri parts.

"Saerileth will love you like no other!" ....... hmmm ........ I'm starting to beleive it.

Soilers ahead ............................ another worry!

I've handled the Kesavar situation (really cool BTW) and got Saerileths talk about that when we rested but I've gotten no other love talks since going to rescue Imoen, other than the mandated Slayer/Phaeri talks. Everything seems to be working fine Sarileth and Imoen have bantered more than a few times already. My worry is that the last pre spellhold lovetalk was the one where Saeri is trying to make sure that your veiws on marraige jive with hers. I was really expecting some sort of follow up after that once we got out of the underdark, possibly her hinting at wanting to get married and what exactly I needed to do. I know that you marry her inbetween SOA and TOB but I don't really have much left to do other than Bodhi. IS everything good and on track should I proceed with Bodhi or wait untill I get some more lovetalks or did I already get the last one?

Thanks in advance.
