I just bought this game so this is probably a silly question but I can't seem to find a good answer.
What is the purpose of using weapons other than a steel sword or a silver sword? For example why would I use a club if I can't use any of my witcher combo abilities. I see that some weapons have bleed effects or stun effects, am I supposed to use these weapons once to start the effect then switch to either steel or silver (based on what kind of threat it is obviously). Also does +50 bleed me chance to cause a bleed effect, or causes a +50 bleed effect.
There isn't any reason to use a weapon other than your steel/silver sword, except for a torch which is occasionally useful when you don't want to use a cat potion. Just sell the other weapons for some extra money.
I think the bonus to bleed is for the bleed chance rather than the bleed amount.
