problems reaching locations

Post by Morgan Terror »

i'm having some issues with reaching 3 of the minor locations, which i'd really like some pointers on.

1: razors pointe. i know where it is because i got really close to it while walking the shoreline, but i can't access it from neither the east or west because the path is blocked. i'd think you would go there by ship, but i haven't seen an option to do that anywhere.

2: vooriden. i could just walk over it to discover it that way, but i'm sure i found it the first time through dialogue. however, i haven't the foggiest idea what dialogue that was.

3: gorgoth pass. even after checking the map on this site and paying attention to the tips for finding it, it just won't show up, even if i walked over it three times already. am i missing something here?

1. Just go south as much as you can dont worry about clicking the location marker, you'll end up there.

2. I think firearms master -forgot who or where- is the one who puts it to your map.

3. It's on 1500W 1443S try approaching it like razors pointe.

Hope this helps.

south from which side, east or west? razors pointe is exactly underneath the stone wall range.

it can't be that one, since i did it already. but i'll try to check for any of those mastery quests.

that's useful. i've written down the coordinates, so i'll give it a go next time.

Razor's Point is south from the west (the Caladon side), on foot. You can't approach it by sea, because the rocks and reefs would destroy your ship.
Speak softly, and carry a big stick. Or better yet: a big, sharp blade. :D

i guess i'll just have to tweak some more with that travelling then. i could really use that darn pass.

i'm a tech, so no. but that automaton army sure is fun.

Right. Here's how I found those places.

1: Razors Pointe. I just went as far south and west as I could on Dernholm's side of the mountains. I little bug enables you to get to it from Caladon's side, too. Just follow the coast as far as possable, toward the mountains, and it'll take you there.

2: Vooridien. You can get it's location from Stringy Pete. He only shows up when you're loking to get a boat to Thanatos, though

3: Gorgoth pass. Yeah, it kinda sucks trying to find it. Just have to follow the mountain line from the west side as close as possable

You can find the grid references for all the locations in this walk through.

I would have cut and pasted the locations here, but the author of the walk through, SW Carter, is one of the mods here, so I decided discretion was the better part of valour. I don't want to suddenly find my account deleted!

i had found them already. razor's pointe was indeed a bit of an odd one. i entered by using the glitch from the caladon side, being unable to enter from either side, and then walked back out by going towards dernholm.

vooriden can apparently be found in several ways. it was indeed possible to find it through the firearms master, and stringy pete, but i'm pretty sure there was a third method.

gorgoth pass was only finable by going towards the exact coordinates, apparently.
