when i had to find him for a quest i couldnt find him after looking for about 3hrs, and checked up and down stairs many times, (ald skar inn) and couldnt find him, i think that this is a glitch, and normally if i had the game for the computer i would just make him apear, but i am waiting for the game to come in the mail for the computer, so i am trying right now to beat the mane quest on the xbox for now please tell me if i am looking in the wrong place or if he could apear else were.

You probably already know this, but just to eliminate possibilities, have you went down the correct set of stairs?
There are two sets, you need to head down the stairway closest to the bar, not the one directly near the inn's entrance.

When you enter the Inn you see two flights of stairs going down and one flight going up in between them. Go up the stairs. To you right you should see another flight of stairs going down. There should be three people in the room; to your left should be a Wood-elf called Tuundir, on the right a Breton called Merthierry Laelippe, and in the centre against the far wall a Dark Elf, this is Hassour Zainsubani. If the other two are there and Hassour Zainsubani isn't you have problems. All I can suggest if this is the case is going back to Caius Cosades and exploring all his dialog options and trying again. Other than that go back to a save before accepting the quest.

i ended up getting frusteraded and killed everyone i could find in the place, and then when i looked around again i saw a extra set of stairs, went the wrong way, thanks for the help though!
