Resurrection Shrines?

Post by Luvian »

Where are the Resurrection Shrine in Multiplayer? I looked around the First town and saw none.

You don't usually die in towns, so why place a shrine there?
The wilderness is full of those shrines.

I just assumed that the shrines where in town because the only one I saw was in the glarcen temple in the Single Player game.

It would be a lot more usefull to have them in town, that way when you die you know where to go to find one.

I don't know about you, but I usually die more than 60 seconds away from the nearest town.

Yes, we usually don't die into town, but what is the point of having a resurection shrine right next to where you died in the dungeon? You might as well be invincible if all you have to do to get resurected is walk back for 5 secs to get to the shrine.

In most games when you die you get taken back to town and have to make your way back to where you died.

There is also the problem of newbie. Sure, a level 60 character might not die next to town, but a level 1 char might. My young brother has been exploring the area around the first multiplayer town and he has yet to find a resurect shrine.

Even at the hardest difficulty you shouldn't die around the first town. Anywho, try walking 20 or 30 towards the crypts and you'll find a few I think.

What crypt? I started playing multiplayer at level 67, so I am unfamiliar with the first area.
