Ressurect

Post by Delita »

In single player, how do you ressurect a character without having enough skills to cast the spells?

I know there are Ressurection shrines in multi, are there any in singleplayer? (plus the fact you don't really die...)

Do you lose any exp or anything in multiplayer death?

In single player games, you can die. When you die, you have to reload your saved game. To resurrect people, you will need to buy a resurrect scroll (not the spell). Anyone can use a scroll as long as they have the mana to do so. I think resurrect requires 30 mana.

There are resurrection shrines. There is one in the town of Glacern I believe (it's in the mage building that looks like a Pentagon), but I'm not sure how to activate it.

I'm BRAND new to this game only making it to town after like maybe an hour or so playtime.

Before I got to town my main person got knocked unconsious but no biggie cause after a few secs he was up again. Yea, he fell back down 10 seconds later but my point was he never DIED just rose and fell.

Are the beginning mobs just stupid and they don't finish you off or do you possibly die from spells later maybe?

Also, from everyone's experience what's the best skills to raise?
So far I'm thinking ranged weapons with a little melee or a little healing.

Ranged weapons or any spell abilities seems great so far since I can outrun anything coming after me and live... just as long as I run back towards the dead bodies

BTW, this game is a hack and slash game which I normally don't like but you can get a little involved in the plot while the graphics are STUNNING.

The burning charred buildings, dead bodies, glittery faeries, beautiful statues... OMG, I can't name all the cool stuff I've seen and I'm probably not even 2% into the game hehehehehe

What does the spell do then?

And also, when I was in Wesrin Cross, in a tunnely labyrinth bit, i found the bodies of a couple of people, I think they were called Minstrels or something. Can I raise them? I tried, but at that point I only had the Resurrect spell, so maybe that wasn't the way to go.

Well, think REAL hard and I bet u'll be able to tell what the Rez spell does.

I mean it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure it out :D

As for the dead ppl you found I'm willing to bet 1,000:1 that they're just there to add graphics and suspense to the game.

I'm only in the mine area myself but if I could REZ every dead person I've seen then they'd have to construct another town :D

The spell is for u're nature character and the scrolls are for when they die and another person needs to REZ him :p

:o PRAY FOR ME

The spell works the same as the scroll in affect, but you'll need a party member with enough experience in Nature magic to use it. Obviously, if you Nature Mage goes down, it would be wise for your other party members to have a scroll handy.
