I'm deep in the ice cave place by the dragon monster but the opposite side and there's a mini dungeon that looks like just a little room but I noticed it has pressure tiles. It's the room that's down the stairs with 2 lil green alien looking things laying on the floor. Well, I offed the monsters fast before I noticed it and I'm playing solo and there's 2 tiles that need to be activated at the same time and I can't get them both pressed down at the same time and have time enough to get down the stairs that appear before the stairway closes up on me.
Any advice on what to do? Also... is anything down there that I really GOTTA have? I'm dying to go down there but I can't think a way that I can playing solo. I thought about casting hold person on the monsters and holding them on the pressure tile but I think I saved it after I killed them. And I only save once per chapter and don't wanna play the whole chapter again if it's not that important. Plus I didn't see the tiles react to the monsters stepping on them the first time.
Sorry, also 2 more quick questions
1) I've tried messing with the party controls to keep my big toothed pet still so he doesn't run in and commit suicide in 5 seconds but that doesn't work... Does anyone know how I can keep him back?
2) If I decide to start on combat magic can you have 2 pets out fighting at once? I may not start building combat magic this game cause I have nature at 19 and melee at like 26 or so and it'll be VERY hard to build up but I was just wondering if you can have 2 pets out at once. Actually, using nature magic can I have a big toothed and the next pet I get at like 21 out at same time?
My big toothed gerbal was cool for a long time but honestly now he just gets on my nerves. He's almost the only way I can get nature up though unless I can solo 1 monster at a time which is pretty impossible to find now

Sorry for the post but I figured it out in case anyone soloing needs advice. I just dropped 2 pieces on armor on the tiles and that kept them pressurized. I tried that once I swear but I guess the first piece I dropped was a little off center and it didn't hold the tile down so I didn't try the 2nd one.
