Bugs, glorious bugs !

Well, like many people, DS crashes at random times and boots me out to Windows most of the time (even when there are no sound effects playing). Once, I got "an error was generated", then it opened that worthless submit program to submit the error. Of course, that just froze my PC altogether. Before I mention my system specs, I will have you know that I'm using the latest NVidia detonator drivers AND have v 4.38 of the VIA 4 in 1 drivers installed. Btw, does anyone get poor performance even though they have a top-of-the-line videocard and decent CPU ? I know what to do to try to improve framerate without sacrificing visual quality, but nothing helps. There's no reason to turn my res down from 1024x768. Turning any graphical features down or off doesn't help, though a GF4 is more than capable of handling this game. Any, system specs:

1.3 GHz Athlon on AOpen AK73 Pro mobo (yeah, need a new mobo)
512 MB RAM
Geforce 4 Ti4600
SB Live! Value
Win ME

read the last "knowen issues" on the DS web site, it say that the latest nVidia drivers m8 cause problem with the game atm and the best resultion for now would be a rollback to the previous driver version.
